Let life's everyday worries melt into the crisp country air of our North Carolina mountain retreat. Spend your vacation in our secluded log cabin nestled on a hilltop among 16 acres of private woodlands. Enjoy the serenity of nature while only minutes from fun-filled activities in renowned Lake Lure. Also, enjoy the panoramic vistas of the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains. Golf, hiking, swimming, boating, climbing, and attractions like Chimney Rock Park await you. Whether you're bringing a family or just a special someone, you will easily be able to find the perfect mixture of great outdoor activities and quiet, soul-quenching solitude.
The cabin offers two bedrooms and two full baths. The Master loft offers a luxurious king-size log bed and spacious full bath with shower/tub combo.
Downstairs the second bedroom has two twin beds which can be pushed together to comfortably for a king. You will also find a fold-out futon for additional sleeping. The second bath is adjacent, with a walk-in shower.
The spacious livingroom offers a 27" television with DDV player and family-friendly DVD library. In the evenings you'll enjoy the cozy wood burning stove.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a holiday dinner or a quiet dinner for two. You'll find service for 8, stainless steel pots and pans, full refrigerator, full oven/stovetop, microwave, coffee pot, blender, crockpot, toaster and more. You can choose to dine in the dining area overlooking the outside deck and mountain view or on warm evenings grill on the gas grill and enjoy your meal on the large picnic table on the spacious deck.
After a busy day of exploring, you can enjoy the gameroom with competition grade pool table, arcade-style video game (with selection of 9 classic games) and a variety of board games.
Outside you can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains from the huge wrap-around deck. Sit back in the log swing and enjoy the sounds of nature and enjoy the wildlife that abounds on the 16 acres of woodlands surrounding the cabin. Short walk down the hill will lead you to our private stocked fishing pond.
