6 St. John's Terrace is situated in vibey, trendy Green Point, first suburb out of Dowtown Cape Town on the Atlantic side of the Cape Peninsula, and thus close to the best that the city has to offer. We are only minutes by car from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and an easy 10 or 15 minute stroll away...neighbouring Sea Point with its beaches and restaurants...10 minutes from the stunning and hugely popular beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay...and all major access roads. The house is in a quiet Victorian street parallel to and between the High Level Road and Main Road, both serviced with transport of one sort or another.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, each with their own full en-suite bathroom and balcony. 2 of the bedrooms have double beds and the 3rd has 2 single beds, or 1 if preferred.
Inbetween these bedrooms is an open sitting room which, when cleared, can take up to 4 single beds.
Downstairs is entered through the front door or via a remote garage door ( parking for 1 standard-sized vehicle ) with direct access into a large, light, bright, sunny and colourful lounge, dining area and kitchen, and guest toilet.
The lounge has ample seating, TV with M-Net ( the movie channel ) VCR, and literally hundreds of videos and dvds are available free and anytime from the owner ( who lives in an apartment under the house, connected to it but with a separate entrance ) DVD player and Hi-fi for cds, tapes and radio. There's also a double sleeper couch, and if required another single bed can be positioned alongside it. Thus the house has beds, linen and towels for up to 13 guests.
The dining area can seat 10 people and there are stairs down to a garden patio with washlines and a portable braai / bar-b-q.
The kitchen has every modern convenience...large fridge with freezer, undrcounter oven with extractor fan, washing machine / tumble dryer combination, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery needed by larger groups.
The house has its own telephone and there's a fax machine, and computer with the internet and e-mail on the premises.
Security is total and there's a safe for valuables in one of the upstairs cupboards.
