There?s no finer place for you to spend your vacation and thats a fact!
THE RESORT
Emerald Island Resort is one of the most prestigious resort developments in the Disney area. It is a secure gated community nestled on an upland tropical oasis area set within hundreds of acres of stunning nature preserve. The elevated position of the resort means that the views over the lowland wetland and woodland preserve are unrivalled anywhere. The Davenport creek runs by the resort and all the way through to Tampa bay and the wildlife is abundant with rare and exotic species. Over the creek runs the land bridge which is the approaching road into the resort where you will see many birds etc enjoying their natural habitat as you approach the friendly gatehouse keeper and security guard. Within the heart of the resort are acres of protected woodland with nature trails and picnic areas for you and your family to enjoy a lazy afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
At the resort clubhouse you will find all the things that you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The reception functions much the same and offers information, the arrangement of transport or dinner tickets etc. The facilities of the clubhouse include a communal pool with tiki bar for early evening drinks before dinner, gym, sauna, cyber cafe, games arcade, tot lot for the younger guests and for the more adventurous, tennis and volleyball courts. A sundries shop and DVD hire etc is to be added in the near future.
The resort is the closest resort to Disney - so close that although addressed kissimmee it is far closer to the town of Celebration, Disney’s own community located to the south of the main theme parks, and being close to Disney and Celebration you can enjoy all the restaurants and amenities etc that they have to offer. Less than a mile from the resort entrance are golf clubs that boast championship conditions all year around if that’s your interest and in the other direction the 192 with all it’s attractions and quiet nightlife. The Outback Steakhouse, Carrabbas Italian restaurant and many more are all situated less than a mile away as is the nearest supermarket.
The resort style living at Emerald Island Resort has something to offer to all of the family and is so much more than a just a normal estate home. Membership of the resort for you and your party is included within your stay at our villa and you are free to use all amenities as much or as little as you wish.
THE SETTING
Our villa is set on one of the most enviable and largest plots at the resort and offers more peace, quiet and tranquility than you will find almost anywhere.
From the southerly facing pool deck there are stunning views of the tranquil lake, and across from the lake are unspoilt lush green woodland and wetland lowland habitat protected areas as far as the eye can see. The slightly elevated position of the villa means that the views overlooking the trees are truly majestic and you feel really close to nature and gods garden. Birds and other wildlife also enjoy it here and we have observed otters playing in the lakes.
THE POOL AREA
The pool area has been designed with the feeling of a tropical oasis to create a space worthy of the stunning views and to bring some of the lush greenery closer adding to the overall seclusion of the pool deck area. The pool itself includes a large rock waterfall feature surrounded by tropical plants and flowers of the area and a wide selection of huge clay pots and urns full of lush green foliage. As fantastic as it looks now, it will only get better as the planting establishes itself and we add to it.
The extremely large pool deck was extended as far toward the lake and either side of the home as we could go to ensure that there is ample room for all our guests and more to enjoy the Florida sunshine. The southerly outlook means that it catches the full sun all day, but if the Florida sunshine is not your thing or you have had your fill for the day you can shade under the fans in the Lanai area and ample furniture for all is provided. It’s the perfect place to break bread and drink wine as the sun goes down and the evening lighting of the pool area comes to life with a versatile atmosphere that suits either the party animals or romantics among your guests.
THE VILLA
Our villa comes with 7 bedrooms, an amazing games room, two spacious living areas and it’s very own private pool. It is a Palm Harbour style designed specifically for the prestigious "Enclave" area of Emerald Island resort. The villa is around 5 minutes walk from the clubhouse or maybe 10 if you take the interesting nature trail.
The furnishings and decor are in two forms. The dining and living room area and the main master bedrooms, with their four poster beds, all have an elegant and more formal style that is just plain lavish. The kitchen diner and family room however have a much more casual style that you can really kick back and relax in. Don’t get me wrong you can relax in all the rooms but these areas offer serious comfort and relaxation. The family room boasts rustic pine furniture and top grain leather sofas, the ultimate in leather and the perfect place to enjoy the large 50" LCD 1080p! HD – High Definition – DLP screen television complete with BOSE digital home theater system. This system rocks and a wide selection of top DVDs, videos and console games has been provided for rainy days or lazy evenings.
The garage has been converted into an air conditioned games room complete with a 50" LCD HDTV with DISH HD platinum package satellite viewing, 4 further 32" HD screens complete with playstations and xbox 360?s systemlinked and online!!! air hockey, foosball and a serious Brunswick 8ft Pool table with centennial ball and cue set. Finished off with bar lights and more this room is a fun place to spend an evening or a few weeks with your family! Guests have commented that there is so much to do inside the villa that it is difficult to spare time to visit Disney! Unfortunately Florida being tropical you may well experience the odd rainy day, but you won?t notice it at the villa....
The villa has a compliment of four master suites. These are all ensuite and have been furnished with king or queen four poster beds with pillow top quality bedding. In fact all beds apart from the top bunk in the younger themed boy’s room are lavished with pillow top bedding – so luxurious it’s like sleeping on a cloud! The three twin rooms each have an adjoining ensuite bathroom shared with one other room. Two of these bedrooms have been themed, the first with two single four poster beds in a white Fairy lacy style for the younger more discerning ladies in the party, and the other in a Cowboy and Indian style to suit the younger gentlemen of the group. The other twin room has been furnished in a neutral style to suit anyone. Televisions with cable are provided in each bedroom.
The kitchen comes equipped with everything that you could possibly need for providing summer drinks or snacks, to catering for full scale dinner parties. We have catered for what we consider all eventualities and guests but if you require something you feel may not be at the villa please ask and we will do our best to provide it if it isn’t already there.

MAINTENANCE of the home:-
It is worth mentioning that having the large selection of high quality amenities is all very well and good but it is the maintenance and cleanliness that is of the paramount importance to us. The Emerald villa is maintained to an extremely high standard with scheduled maintenance gaps for spring cleans and carpet cleaning etc should the villa need it or not. We operate a very intensive maintenance schedule aimed at ensuring that each and every guest arrives to the same luxury, clean and hassle free vacation experience as the very first guests that vacationed there. No expense is spared on this and as part of this program in May 2008 the villa was painted throughout both inside and out, the pool deck cleaned and painted and carpets changed where needed.
Also, as part of this ongoing maintenance not only is the home cleaned before and after each guests stay but there is also a midweek clean with towel / linen changes during the stay aimed at keeping the villa tip top at all time whilst pampering our guests.

RATES
We know from experience that you and your guests can’t stay in better accommodation or at a finer location in the Disney area. The following “extras” are all included in the price…
TAX – tourist tax at 13% is included in the prices quoted below
CLEANING – included in the price of a weekly stay is a mid-week clean with towel / linen change. For stays of longer than one week end of week maid service is also provided.
TELEPHONE – no calls have been barred on the telephones and normal use is included in the price of the villa.
WiFI - broadband internet with wireless router. Xbox 360?s online!!!!
HD Satellite - DISH platinum package available on the huge Full HD screens..
POOL and SPA HEATING – is included in the price of your vacation.
GAS BARBEQUE – A Gas BBQ Grill is provided for you and you can cook until Al Fresco and his friends are all contented, with no hidden charges for the gas or cleaning.
VIDEO GAMES / DVDs – a wide selection has been provided for use free of charge that should cover all tastes.
Prices listed below are for 2009 and per week based on Saturday to Saturday reservations and include everything listed above and more so there is nothing to rent or pay for on arrival.
