Beautiful garden and canal view from living room/kitchen/dining area. Walk to bus in 5 minutes and you will be in Amsterdam Central Station within 30 minutes. Night busses available too! Bikes available for use; 45 minute drive to beach; close to local farms producing eggs, Dutch cheeses, nurseries and close to Winery/Fort; close to windmills--both Zaanse Schans and smaller windmills in local towns. Train station is 15 minute walk or 7 minute bike ride. Edam and Volendam are within a 15 minute scenic drive or biking distance. For the person who wants to see and feel the real Netherlands and not just Amsterdam, this is the perfect place.
