WELCOME TO "Ma Maison" A PERFECT SERENE RETREAT
In the heart of the Dordogne Valley, accessible to the most interesting destinations of the region, this beautiful, newly and tastefully renovated stone home overlooks the river and blends the past with today's comfort and high standards. The property, with its private beach, park on the Dordogne right bank and gorgeous countryside panorama is located in Blanzaguet. The peaceful and generally undiscovered hamlet, with its church Saint-Germain from the 12th century, is located on the famous trail “Circuit du Roc de Monges » an itinerary labeled « P.R. » by the French Hiking Federation offering ample opportunities for viewing of wildlife. Paragliding lovers will find four renowned flying sites to practice their favorite sport only 15 minutes away! Definitely a stopover for canoeits.
The Quercy-Perigord area is rich in history and renowned for its gastronomy: foie gras, truffles a.k.a. black diamonds and of course the CAHORS wines. Your host M.J., born and raised in Paris, has lived 25 years in San Francisco Bay Area, she will make your stay most enjoyable and unforgettable. Rates start at 57€ for two, breakfast served with homemade cakes and jams is included. The spacious, bright, immaculate rooms feature private bathroom with jacuzzi or hydromassage shower.
Upon reservation, M.J. will prepare a dinner with local, fresh and when available organic products - 23€ per person aperitif & wine included.
