This home sits on a hilltop across the street from beautiful Lake Algonquin with stunning views of the lake and mountains beyond. Pine trees to one side with firepit for late nite marshmallow roasts, rolling green grass lawns take you down to the lake. Great for swimming, kayaking (bring your own), mt biking, running, walking, hiking to many waterfalls - will share with you the local scoop.
Sleeps 2. This is a 4 hour drive from Manhattan, 1.5 hours from Albany.

We call her 'Trailer-Liscious'. She's a 1966 mobile home that has been converted, renovated, sided, roofed, had additions built on and given tons of loving care and attention to make her what she is today - a unique and delightful modern lakeside retreat. Huge (34 feet by 9 feet!) screen enclosed porch w/Pottery Barn Westport sectional, dining and views of the lake. Adirondack chairs for lakeview reading, bbq and picnic table for lakeside dining. Free local and long distance calls, high speed wireless (a true novelty up here!), flat screen for DVD's, no cable and no cell service.
Top end linens and towels provided. Furnishings are new, modern and comfy. This is a very clean, freshly renovated home...we are looking for kind and considerate guests who appreciate the lake view location, the town of Wells and Lake Algonquin as we do, and will take good care of her during their stay.
Lake Algonquin is a pleasant and secluded alternative to the hustle and bustle of life...during the week it is possible you will be the only ones on the lake! We have had family homes here for over 50 years, absolutely love it (thus purchased this third one on the lake!) and so have all our guests!
