Property detailed description

Two bedroom, two bath home on the water at the confluence of the Penobscot Bay. Sit at the desk and look through the telescope at the seals on the ledge in front of the house and the ospreys feeding their young. Take a walk on the beach (home has access to private beach across from Sandy Point) or take out kayaks and get up close and personal with the seals. Walk around the bend and down to Sandy Point beach and to a real treasue to Frenchman's Point and beyond. Have coffee on the deck in front of the bedrooms or breakfast on the deck off the kitchen. Shopping is 10 minutes away in Bucksport or Searsport-Belfast 20 minutes. You don't have to leave but if you do Camden is 40 minutes away with Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park about an hour. Don't miss the town of Searsport with their terrific museum and Belfast with the best movie theatre around. It's worth going to the children's special to sit in the balcony like the good ole days! What ever you choose to do, you will surely appreciate the magic of Maine being nestled among trees with an abundance of peace and quiet on a private road!!!
