River Trail Country Vacations is located on the southern edge of the Northern Boreal Forest in east-central Saskatchewan, Canada.
We feature a 1400 square foot fully equipped cabin with complete kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus a detached bunkhouse and all towels and bedding supplied. The cabin has washer and dryer, a good quality electric, fireplace,TV/VCR and movies, cd player and electric heat. It is built into a hillside on 2 levels with a wheel chair ramp and deck on the upper level and a small patio on the lower.
There is a 13 acre pond in front of the cabin with a canoe for the guests to use on site. There are also 2 miles of completed hiking trails with more roughed in.
Our nearest neighbours are over a mile away and though we live nearby peace and quiet are the norm. Sometimes normal farming activities do take place at certain times of the year.
Day trips, fishing trips, down hill skiing and wildernwss tours can all be arranged.
