The Contemporary Castle is a stunning five-bedroom oceanfront residence at Sandbridge Beach, just twenty minutes south of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
Nestled among giant sand dunes covered with sea oats, this magnificent contemporary home provides guests with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The home is open and airy, with high vaulted ceilings throughout and beautiful woodwork with a number of natural cedar accent walls.
There are two master-bedroom suites...a smaller first level suite with a kitchenette and private bath with jetted tub; the enormous second-floor master suite has a seating area with an entertainment center, a private bath suite and a private oceanside sundeck. The remaining three bedrooms are spacious and very tastefully furnished.
The spacious greatroom provides "a million-dollar view" of the mighty Atlantic, and is highlighted by buttery-soft leather sofas and a big-screen Sony television. Just outside is a very large ocean sundeck from which the views are spectacular...sit and watch the dolphins put on a show! Just beneath, is another shaded deck at dune level from which you walk directly to the beach.
The diningroom features a twelve foot glass atrium with southern ocean views...it's granite dining table easily seats ten, and just steps away in the spacious kitchen is a custom-built blue-pearl granite table that seats eight guests. The knotty-pine cabinets along with the newly installed blue-pearl countertops and backsplash make this a truly stunning kitchen.
The huge (25' X 35') garage/gameroom is set up with a very nice Valley billiard table and a Kettler ping-pong table. In addition, there are sofas and tables as well as an extra refrigerator.
