This Character Home is a stately and spacious home in the beautiful and historic Eldridge neighborhood of Bellingham, Washington. Built in 1940, it is warm and charming with a sense of timeless character and a peace that will soothe your soul.
There are partial views of the water and marina in Bellingham Bay and also of the grand historic homes across the street which also makes the Eldridge (or Columbia Neighborhood) a favorite walking route for many locals. Bellingham is also central to all that Bellingham has to offer including; Elizabeth Park, Downtown and Old Town Bellingham, Fairhaven, the Bellingham Airport, Bellisfair Mall, Bellingham Technical College and Western Washington University to name a few. It is a mere five minute walk to the beach and trails.
In the home, there are three bedrooms and den (TV Room), one full and one half bath room, a formal living and dining room, an informal breakfast/lunch room off the kitchen, washer/dryer and bike storage in the garden shed. It delightfully bright, nicely and comfortably furnished with polished hardwood floors throughout.
The almost quarter of an acre or lawn and gardens are for you to enjoy as is the edible garden, complete with a very old apple tree.
