Barn Owl Cottage Self Catering accomodation is in an idylic rural setting among the Hills of Donegal.
It comprises of 1 large En Suite family bedroom, fully fitted and equiped modern kitchen and sitting room/dining area .
The Cottage has oiled fired central heating, hot water immersion heater with a constant suply of hot water on tap.
The Vacation Cottage also comes with a TV, CD player and a patio with countryside views.

The Cottage is on the main bus route so ideal for independant older travelers.
There are marked walk routes that will bring you through the Hills and Valleys at Barn Owl Cottage and the main walking trail passes by our door or a longer walk is the Blue Stack Hills Trail.

Fishing on the Owenea river a few minutes walk from Barn Owl Cottage, stocked with salmon and trout.
Other attractions in the area are Glenveagh National Park and Castle .
This beautiful park is home to heards of red deer and golden eagles about one hours drive from our Vacation Cottage.
There is a Visitors Centre and the Castle is surrounded by one of the finest gardens in Ireland.
There are guided tours of the Castle and a restaurant with tea/coffee and home made scones available.
St Connells Meseum and Heritage Centre in Glenties is a popular tourist attraction.
The beautiful beaches at Nairn and Portnoo which are blue flag awarded are just 10 minute drive from Barn Owl Cottage.
Glenties town offers a choice of Restaurants and Traditional Irish pubs with Traditional Music.
There is also and large supermarket so you can have a extensive variery to choose from for your stay at Barn Owl Cottage.
