Cute, two-bedroom, one-bath, two-story bungalow sits on one-half acre, just up from Main Street in Keene. Situated in the heart of the Adirondack Mountain's high peaks, this home offers beautiful views of Cascade Mountain, and easy access to Lake Placid (11 miles), Whiteface Mountain (nine miles), Keene Valley (five miles), and all of the best hiking trails, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and skiing (cross country and downhill) that you might be looking for!
The house is furnished with all sorts of little 'getaway amenities' - from a queen-size futon on the outdoor screen porch (for an extra non-winter sleeping spot for two), a bonfire pit (for roasting marshmallows), a perennial garden (with fresh herbs for cooking)... the house has a well-stocked kitchen for any kind of cooking you would like to do, a spa-like bathroom for relaxing baths (in a clawfoot tub), a large TV (for movies), and a full-size washer and dryer (to keep you with fresh, dry clothing)
